ALEKSANDAR VEŠIĆ
Aleksandar Vešić (1980, Varaždin) graduated in 2003 from the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varazdin, and in the period from 2003 to 2008 he studied e-bass at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz (Austria) under prof. Helmut Schonleitnera and Adelhardt Roidinger. As a second instrument he studied double bass with prof. Adelhardt Roidinger and Peter Herbert. During his studies and after graduation, Alexander is active as a live and studio musician, arranger and songwriter/composer for different ensembles in Croatia, Slovenia, Austria (Varaždin Jazz Band, Kajtebriga, Tomislav Goluban & Little Pigeon Forehill Blues, Tamara Obrovac, Zdenka Kovačićek, Lela i Joe Kaplowitz, Ksenija Erker, Singrlice, The Mindmills, Ivan Vragolović, Superoperater, Nusynergetic Orchestra, HTZ band, Sudar Percussion, Nuša Derenda, Oto Pestner, Maja Keuc, Darja Švajger, Kristina Obrežan, Simfonijski Orkestar RTV Slovenija, Landestheater Linz, Wolfgang R. Kubicek, Jazzwa, Juvaliant, Eric Noden & Joe Filisco…). Also, has its own authoring projects like Sikter Ego and Blowbuzz The Cloud. In the period from 2008 to 2009 he taught at the Music School in Varazdin, and since 2009 teaches at the Academy of Jazz and Popular music – Rock Academy in Zagreb.
